Outline (in English)

The actual labor market is never structured by a simple market mechanism. It has received numerous constraints from the "institution" that was reflected in the society, culture, politics and economy of the country/region. It is a social system that has been formed over a long process.

In the lesson, we try to understand the structure and current situation of Japanese labor market from an institutional approach. Specifically, with the theme of employment introduction, worker dispatch, matching business, and so on, we will consider the structure and scale of the market, the regulation, and the impact of globalization and aging.
