Outline and objectives

This course will help students develop intermediate interpersonal skills and promote interest and motivation in learning English by communicating with classmates. Also, they develop English learning skills, presentation literacy, and explore topics about the environment, health, and technology. English must be the main language spoken in class. Though explanations may be given in Japanese if necessary, frequent classroom instructions should only be in English.

Goal

In this course, students develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. To help improve their skills, students are expected to be positive about studying English, and are also expected to participate in classroom activities such as speaking in groups. By the end of this course, students should be able to communicate with classmates and give presentations in English with confidence.
