Outline and objectives

IMPROVING YOUR ENGLISH WITH AN INTERESTING APPROACH AS DESCRIBED BELOW

Goal

This course will empower students to better their speaking, reading and listening comprehension in English. The class also offers cultural insights with a variety of exercises that will encourage student participation and enhance their desire to continue studying English.

Students receive feedback (by email for online classes, or handwritten on the submitted assignment for in-person classes) as follows on each assignment they submit; the teacher evaluates their work with a letter grade as well as written comments on their work and suggestions for any improvements needed. The plan is to have students do the readings before they come to class. Random questions will be asked to insure this. Students must have a dictionary in all classes and be prepared to participate.
