Outline (in English)

In 19th century Paris where capitalism was beginning to mature, the best metropolitan culture in Europe was about to blossom. Walter Benjamin, one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th century, wrote "Paris: Capital of the Nineteenth Century" to find the true meaning of Paris which continued to change. Carefully reading this excellent essay, we restore various images developed in Paris at the time to understand the era of changes in which the world of art and thought competed with that of technology and commodities as a history of thought.
