Outline (in English)
The objective of the course is to enable students to polish their writing skills to a high level. Reference will be made to articles provided in class to enable improvement in writing structure and content.

Using non-fiction articles, students will learn how to express ideas and opinions. Each week students will read and discuss a topic in class and then write a short report or essay outlining their reactions. Individual feedback will be given on each report or essay.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
Grades will be based on written essays to be submitted each week (100%).
Course credits will not be given where a student is absent three or more times in a semester without submitting a reason.
