The aim of this course is to provide students with opportunities to improve their English skills, think critically, and express their ideas and opinions while studying fundamental principles and practices in business administration.

The aim of this course is to provide students with opportunities to improve their English skills, think critically, and express their ideas and opinions while studying fundamental principles and practices in business administration.
到達目標Goal
The goal of the course is to help students communicate about business topics and gain confidence when speaking in English. The basic structure of a paragraph and an essay will be studied so that students are able to organize their thoughts in a logical way. This will aid students in their preparation for presentations on the topics covered. Students will listen to lectures, read articles, write reports, participate in discussions, and give presentations.

Active participation is essential. Class activities include lectures, discussions, presentations, written reports and group research projects. Students work in pairs and in small groups. Students will submit assignments and receive feedback through Google Classroom.

If we cannot meet in the classroom on campus, there will be online real time meetings (Zoom) and on-demand lectures through Google Classroom. It is important that you are well prepared for each class and meet on time. If you are absent, you must complete all missed assignments, inform me in person or by email, and be ready for the next class.
University guidelines suggests preparation and review for a one-credit course to be around an hour a week.

参考書References
Students are required to refer to various sources when researching for writing and presentation assignments. Most research will be done on the internet and in the library.

Final evaluation will be based on:
Participation and regular attendance 30%
Homework and written assignments 30%
Mid-term presentation 20%
Final paper 20%
More than three absences will seriously affect your final grade.
