i)To improve not only general proficiency in understanding of and performance on certified tests but also the particular skills needed for atttaning this.

(i)Improved understanding of the principle elements of certified tests,particularly TOEIC.(ii)Higher score attainment on such tests which is more commensurate to actual understanding of their content.
到達目標Goal
i)The integration of skills for reading and writing with those cognitive ones involved for analysis, recognition, and choice of relevant information.
ii)Better understanding of text and discourse structures through practice with materials from the different sections of TOEIC tests .

Practical learning through both the use of material from past tests and regular revision with practice work sheets. As pair work is an essential part of the course, students are expected to take responsibility for their own study and participate fully.

【本授業の準備・復習等の授業時間外学習は、1時間を標準とする】Constant review of materials practiced and explained in class is necessary both for improved scores on certified tests and for faster recognition of the question patterns. Only this will heighten skills and performance.
