Outline (in English)

This is introductory to magnetism and magnetic materials. The fundamentals of magnetism will be lectured from the 1st to the 8th lectures, covering magnetic phenomena, classical magnetic field theory, magnetic materials, basics on modeling and simulation analysis, and etc. The principle applications are given from the 9th to the 13rd lectures, including applications in electrical and electronic engineering, soft/hard magnetic materials, sensing and measurement, magnetic recording. This course will be of interest to undergraduate students in electrical/electronic department.
