Outline (in English)

This course aims to understand the basic theories of Modern control theory which utilizes the time-domain state space representation (mathematical model of a physical system as a set of input, output and state variables related by first-order differential equations). This state space representation provides a convenient and compact way to model and analyze systems with multiple inputs and outputs, and moreover, enables to deal with nonlinear terms and initial values.
