Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to gain the ability to understand the regional and historical diversity of business which are affected by economic, social, and cultural context.
In second semester, We focus on the period from the end of World War I to the present. We will consider the following issues. How was established the Large Company Centered System in United States, Europe, and Japan? What is the difference between systems in these areas?
Through examining these issues, you will gain the ability to understand business diversity form a historical perspective. This ability will help you to understand autonomously about today’s companies.
In this lecture, students will be asked to collect literature on the history of individual companies and prepare long-term reports based on them. So, You will be able to master how to read historical materials.
