Outline (in English)

The Elementary Political Economy intends to analyze the formation and structure of the capitalism from the viewpoint of Marx's economics. This class will talk about what money is, what the capital is, and what the capitalism is. Based on such basic considerations, this class will then examine as to why the capitalism has caused the distress and crisis and has widened the gap between the rich and the poor, though it has brought about the huge productivity.
This class in the spring semester focuses on the formation of the capitalism. It will argue the history of economic thought such as mercantilism, classical economics and Marx’s economics. It will give you a general understanding about the nature of the capitalism.
The class in the fall semester analyzes the structure of the capitalism. It will attempt to consider about the wage theory, the theory of accumulation and reproduction, and the credit system. Therefore, you will be able to learn an insight into the development and contradiction which are immanent in the capitalism.
This class will plainly explain basic terms on political economy for beginners.
