Outline (in English)

In this lesson, we will deal with "Bunny novels".
So-called literary writers such as Natsume Soseki, Tanizaki Junichiro and Dazai Osamu have written many mysterious novels. In this class, we will deal with various types of mysterious novels, from those works to those by active novelists.
Modern literature is often read morally or from an unwilling point of view from the original way of art such as “modern ego”. By dealing with mysterious novels, we first aim to be free from such readings.
In addition, since the mysterious novel has a clear purpose of scaring the reader, the plot configuration for that purpose is also clear. A mysterious novel is appropriate for learning the concept of plotting.
Furthermore, we can extend our discussion to the philosophical issue of why fear turns into pleasure.
Based on the above, we plan to hold classes.

Participants are required to submit a mini-report each time, submit this report three times, and submit a final assignment summarizing the three reports. It is not an easy class, so participants are encouraged to register with reasonable care.

* Depending on the work, there are grotesque expressions and violence.
