Comments and Suggestions
授業時間外の学習(準備学習・復習・宿題等)Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
Students will be asked to watch, summarize, and evaluate a TED presentation online video each week between weeks 3 and 7. They will be given a series of questions to answer and to write a report about it to be submitted by email weekly. They can also expect to assigned homework exercises and drills for each training skill in preparation for next class recitation leading to their final presentation.
Afterwards, they will start working on their pre-recorded presentation –- slides and delivery from introduction to conclusion –- to be played back in class for teacher and peer evaluation in two consecutive rounds. Students will be required to submit their Private Youtube or Online Drive links to their recorded presentation by email to be pre-viewed and commented on by the teacher at first during Take 1 and later on by their classmates during Take 2. In addition to individual feedback for each student, the teacher will also give collective feedback after each group presentation. Details and examples will be discussed and shown during class orientation on the first day and as we go along with the course.
