The goal of this course is to develop students' vocabulary, listening and reporting skills. Students will watch news videos related to self development and self enrichment and share their reactions and opinions in writing.The language of instruction and presentation will be English.

One goal is to develop listening and thinking skills in English through study of vocabulary and issues presented in the news.

Point breakdown: 30% participation/class work, 70% weekly homework. The objectives, course plan, materials and system of evaluation may be changed to better meet the needs of the learners.
