Outline (in English)

Our goal is to come into contact with as many Noh plays as possible and to deepen our understanding of Noh theater. We will be exposed to as many Noh plays as possible during our time in the seminar, and at the same time, we will accumulate knowledge about the history of Noh. Noh is a comprehensive art form that originated in the Muromachi period. By deepening our knowledge of classical literature, Japanese culture, and various performing arts, we will be able to understand the performing art of Noh from multiple perspectives.
