Outline and objectives

Today's marketing calls for more than developing good products, pricing them attractively, and making them accessible. Companies must also communicate their present and potential customers. For more marketers, therefore, the question is not whether to communicate but rather what to say, when and how to say it, to whom, and how often. From such a point of view, companies need to strategically design and manage communication activities. This class focuses on advertising which accounts for a large part of communication activities, and aims to help students to get a better understanding of marketing communication activities.
