This course provides you with an opportunity to acquire the introductory knowledge of western economic history, focusing on the process of development.

During the spring semester of 2022, I use the hybrid method that combines both online lectures through zoom and face-to-face lectures in the classroom at the Ichigaya Campus. I will provide feedback of assignments through the Hosei hoppii system. For confidentiality reasons, I will send the result by email to every student one week after taking the quiz.

The final evaluation will be based on the following: Attendance and contributions:20%, group presentations: 15%; quizzes: 25%; and final report: 40%; total: 100%.
