Outline and objectives

This course will cover everything from translation theory to practical translation, giving students the tools they need to be active in the world of intercultural communication.

Goal

Students in the first semester of this course will learn how to find their own translation style by studying theory and by translating many different types of work.

In the second semester of this course, students will go into greater detail in analysing their own translations and comparing them against the work of others.
