Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The aim of this course is to help students acquire the fundamental theory and methods to contribute to psychological support of athletes and sport teams.
【Learning Objectives】
1. Learn the theory and method of mental support (sports mental training, sports counseling, etc.) that contributes to the improvement of athletes' psychological problems.
2. Learn the theory and methods of mental support that contribute to team building.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each. The specific details of our efforts are as follows.
1. Classes consist of presentations and discussions, so it is advisable to be in touch with the latest topics related to your research theme.
2. If you have any specified documents, please read them carefully in advance.
3. It is desirable to record daily what you feel / notice in sports scenes and daily life. The recorded content will be a clue to deepen your understanding of this class.
4. Get in the habit of looking at various sports-related information sent from TV, newspapers, the Web, etc. This work will deepen your understanding of the contents of this lecture.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Comprehensive evaluation is performed according to the following criteria.
1. Participation status in class, reaction paper: 50%.
2. Submissions for various assignments: 50%.
