Outline (in English)

Course outline
The main goal of the course is to gain a general understanding of basic physiology and methodology in sports training science. Training and conditioning will be presented by a practical coaching point of view. Students are required to discuss and present related research papers.

Learning Objectives
The goals of this course to
1. understand the various training theories and methodologies for strength, power, total body endurance, speed, coordination, flexibility, etc.;
2. learn about appropriate goal and task setting and programming methods to promote training with specific programming; evaluate injuries to be practiced and exercise prescription appropriate for the subject in conjunction with evaluation of the subject to be taught.

Learning activities outside of classroom
Confirmation of basic knowledge of functional anatomy and physiology. Translation and introduction of foreign papers.
Preparation and review time for this class, which discusses various types of training based on his/her own experience, will be 2 hours each.

Grading Criteria /Policy
Two presentations (25% each), final exam (50%)
