授業の概要と目的(何を学ぶか)Outline and objectives
The course is primarily for graduate students with a strong motivation and a keen interest in research. The course will provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the area of intelligent robots and their applications in human environments. In addition to the weekly readings, presentations, and discussions, students will be involved in research project involving hardware, software and performance evaluation of developed robotic systems.

Students will be introduced to the area of intelligent robots and their applications in human environment. Students will acquire a deep knowledge on robot hardware, intelligent algorithms such Neural networks, Genetic Algorithms and Deep Learning. In addition, students will develop problem solving and critical thinking ability.

The students will master their knowledge in Human robotics by long term projects, survey of scientific literature, survey of specialized books and presentation of their findings.
