Exercises will be done alone, in pairs, or in small groups. Skills for presentation, discussion and paragraph writing -- in other words, expressing yourself logically and coherently -- will be worked on. Relaxed yet serious interactions are strongly encouraged. Guidance on how to use dictionaries effectively will be given. Since this class is for students to communicate, they will be using all four language skills -- reading, writing, listening and speaking -- although the main focus will be on the latter three. Feedback will be given in class or via the Learning Management System.
