Outline (in English)

【Course outline 】
The aim of this course is help students acquire an understanding the international situation, an environmental problem, natural disasters, culture
and so on through the essays.

【Learning Objectives】
The goals of this course are to acquire high English proficiency, critical thinking and social skills through listeing, reading , writing and speaking.

【Learning activities and outside of classroom 】
University guidelines suggest preparation and review should be around an hour a week for a one-credit course.
Before each class meeting, students will be expected to spend one hour to understand the course content and have read the relevant chapter and completed the assighnments.

【 Grading Criteria 】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
submission assighnments 10%
class contribution 10%
classroom qize 30%
term-end examination 50%
