Outline and objectives

The objectives of this course are to reinforce grammar patterns learned in the past and to introduce new grammar for English oral communication and conversation as well as to practice speaking, listening and writing English. Talk a lot about your own ideas and experiences, and share them with classmates.

Goal

This course will help students to improve their ability to communicate in English. Students will increase their confidence in English through talking, reading and writing about a variety of everyday topics. Students will focus in particular on developing and explaining their own opinions and ideas.

In this class, you will work in pairs, small groups and individually. We will follow the themes in the textbook closely. You will have many opportunities to improve your everyday spoken English communication and discuss information and ideas in English. Please come to class ready to participate actively and positively.
Submission of assignments and feedback will be on the Learning Management System.
