授業の概要と目的(何を学ぶか)Outline and objectives
Effective communication opens up a lot of possibilities for anyone
wanting to work in an international environment. This course is for students who wish to practice and develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
到達目標Goal
1. Students will demonstrate improved speaking, listening,
and writing fluency.
2. Students will become more capable of participating in spoken
discourse.
3. Students will become familiar with the writing process.
4. Students will become better independent language learners.

The teacher will act as a facilitator and provide face to face and online feedback to ensure students successfully achieve the goals of the course. This is a hybrid class. We will meet some weeks in person and some weeks on Zoom. Please see Hoppii for details.

Students are expected to complete homework assignments from the textbook and worksheets that will be provided by the teacher. University guidelines suggest preparation and review should be around one hour a week for a one-credit course.

HOPPII, the Hosei University learning management platform, and Zoom will be used throughout the semester. Students who attend a Zoom lesson on campus will need a headset.
