[Course Description]
This once a week required class for first-year students develops the range of English language skills (with an emphasis on oral communication) by applying practical communication strategies to help build on those linguistic skills learned by students in high school.

The goal of this course is to improve the fluency of the students so that they are at an intermediate level in terms of their reading comprehension and speaking and listening abilities.
