Outline and objectives

Practice and develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Understand texts of diverse content, articulate own ideas and give short presentations.

Goal

The course aims at improving students’ overall ability to access various contents and to communicate in English. Students will learn to express themselves idiomatically in a range of situations regularly encountered in everyday and academic life. They will practice speaking and writing skills in order to become able to describe experiences and events and give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. Students will also train to structure their own thoughts and express them orally and in writing.
