Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
By acquiring basic knowledge about the research theme selected from the specialized field and basic skills related to computers, programming, etc., and by tackling specific issues related to each research theme, the student improves the level of knowledge and skills necessary for writing graduation thesis.
(Learning Objectives)
Acquire basic knowledge in the assigned theme by reading literatures related to individual research themes. Students develop basic skills related to computers and programming through working on exercises. In addition, students deepen their understanding of specific issues in their research themes, and improve their problem-solving ability so that they can formulate and implement their own research plan for writing their graduation thesis.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
A wide range of continuous learning outside of class is required, such as acquiring basic knowledge related to individual research themes, acquiring basic skills related to computers and programming, and working on specific research issues. The standard time for preparation and review for this class is 2 hours each.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Interim Presentation, Graduation Research 2 Applicants who pass the interim review of the interim report will be evaluated based on their research efforts and final review (graduation thesis, research summary, research presentation). The evaluation will be based on the status of research efforts, graduation thesis (50%), research summary (25%), and research presentation (25%). However, applicants who have engaged in research for less than 180 hours will be disqualified.
