Basic career skills Ⅰ
【Course outline】
The purpose of this course is to acquire basic skills as a business person or a member of society. You can learn immediately useful knowledge and skills like basic manner and way of thinking you should get before you enter the world of work. Lesson contents are 1)Business Communication - speaking, listening, writing, and so on, 2)Business Manner, 3)Developing Personal Relationships, 4)Presentation Skills ,etc.
Students who want to take this course should take the first lesson.
【Learning Objectives】
The goal of this course are to be able to understand and practice the basic business skills of communication manner and so on, to understand the importance of teamwork and act accordingly, and to put this course to use in activities of internships and job search.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
 Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content Experiment/Practice(one-credit)
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 30%、Short reports : 20%、in class contribution: 50%
