Outline (in English)

In this lesson, you understand the significance and way of thinking of library services and master basic knowledge. We will also learn about practical examples at the library. Library services are conducted not only in public libraries but in all libraries. Understand the challenges of the current library service and consider ways to solve problems by group discussion.

The goal of this class is for students to acquire the following abilities at the end of the class.

Learning Objectives
① You will acquire basic knowledge about the types and contents of library services.
② Through case studies, you will be able to make independent decisions when you become a library service representative in the future.
③ Improve your planning ability as a librarian.

Learning activities outside of classroom
Students should carefully read the relevant pages of the textbooks and reference books. Please use the university libraries and public libraries that are close to you directly, or look at the contents of each library's homepage to deepen your understanding of the good points and issues.
Case studies are important in this subject. The standard preparatory study and review time is 2 hours each.
