Outline (in English)

In this lecture, people aiming for the teaching profession will learn fundamental matters related to teaching jobs, and will decide their aptitude and will aim to raise motivation for the teaching profession.
We will examine the current situations of school education and school teachers, their careers, future issues and so on.
In this class, students will consider teaching as one of their future options, and will gain a basic understanding of the significance of the teaching profession, the role of teachers, their qualifications and abilities, and their duties. They will also consider what it means to be a teacher, what they need to learn and acquire in order to do so, and determine their own aptitude and motivation for the teaching profession.
Learning activities outside of classroom
When creating presentations and reports, it is essential to cite academic technical books (including educational history) related to the theme and fieldwork, so we will select them. The method etc. will be explained in the class. In addition, instruct preparatory learning in advance according to the theme of the lesson. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading Criteria /Policy
Comprehensively evaluate that you can understand basic knowledge and ideas, and that you are willing to take the initiative in learning the four-year teaching profession. Specifically, the evaluation will be based on the tasks presented during class: 40% and the regular exam: 60%.
