Outline (in English)

Learning objectives
This course introduces basic topics/theories covered in industrial and organizational psychology, that studies human behavior in the workplace, specifically focusing on managing, supporting employees and aligning employee efforts with business needs..
The goal of this course to engage students in thinking critically about the needs of workplaces and understand how the science of I-O Psychology helps address those needs. Students will also develop skills for analyzing and integrating social phenomena from the perspective of industrial and organizational psychology.
Goal
At the end of the course, students are expected to understand the main concepts of industrial/organizational psychology, have a vision of their own career, and be able to think about problems in workplace management and how to improve them.
Work to be done outside of class
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Grading criteria
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Short reports : 48%、Term-end reports : 52%
