Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
In the present age, people learning places and opportunities are spreading widely. Beyond the learning concepts that school education catches, the creation of a place for learning by adults throughout their lives is essential to respond to contemporary issues (citizen participation, recurrent education, literacy, multicultural coexistence, environmental learning, etc.). In the class, we aim to understand the various aspects of adult learning places to respond to contemporary issues, and to consider the possibility of social education and lifelong learning towards solving the problem.

[Learning Objectives]
Understand the contemporary problems related to adult education / lifelong learning, understand how adult education / lifelong learning administration / systems have responded to such problems, and practice various adult education / lifelong learning. The goal is to be able to interpret the significance and challenges of lifelong learning.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
・ Be interested in articles related to adult education and lifelong learning that are dealt with in reference books and newspapers, collect articles, and summarize your impressions and opinions. The standard time for each person is basically about 120 minutes.
・ Try to review so that you can deepen your understanding of the terms of adult education and lifelong learning. The standard time for each person is basically about 120 minutes.
・ While referring to the contents of the lecture, think about your own way of life for your own self-actualization. The guideline for the time to work is basically different for each person, but it doesn't matter how much you work on it.

Impressions during video learning (10 points x 3 = 30 points), term-end report (70 points) and reaction paper content (+ α)
