Outline (in English)

This course introduces the fundamentals of academic research to students taking this course. By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
−Search for appropriate research papers on topics of one's interest,
−Formulate research questions by using the knowledge gained in this lecture,
−Understand how to prepare a basic research questionnaire,
−Master methods from data collection to visualization of results,
−Summarize the purpose, procedure, and results of a survey in an easy-to-understand report.
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Grading will be decided based on reports (50%) and in-class contributions (50%).
