This course focuses on improving the students' communication skills by their summarizing news stories and doing role-playing in order to be better able to deal with business situations in the future.

This course focuses on improving the students' communication skills by their summarizing news stories and doing role-playing in order to be better able to deal with business situations in the future.

This course aims to develop business communication skills that will help learners to interact in a business context and be able to give a convincing presentation.

This is a hybrid class, we will meet some weeks in person and some weeks on Zoom.
Exercises will be done both in class and as homework. There will be a quiz at the end of the semester.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
Grading will be based on participation in class activities(40%), homework(20%), quizzes and tests(40%). In principle, no more than 3 absences per term are allowed.
