Students will work in small teams to complete weekly communicative tasks. The primary tasks are: giving brief market reports, researching companies for investment, writing short analysis report emails, and giving presentations for investment recommendations. These same tasks will be repeated, but because financial markets change daily, the content within these tasks will constantly change. Due to the course focus on communicative task practice, business concept learning will be restricted to only the most basic elements. The teacher will provide guidance and structure for business communication tasks until students become comfortable and build fluency.
