Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The purpose of this course is to learn basic concepts in industrial/organizational psychology that are relevant to current problems in the workplace. The topic of the lecture will cover from marketing, cost-profit analysis, quality control, staff management, human resources, and overseas expansion.

【Learning Objectives】
At the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1) describe overall topic of interests in industrial/organizational psychology, 2) explain basic concepts and terms in business, and 3) give examples of business practices based on psychological research.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students are expected to complete weekly assignments on research projects (average of 2 hours).

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Final grade in this class will be decided based on the following: Weekly tests (100%) or alternative reports which are allowed to replace with untaken test scores up to 6 times.
