Outline (in English)

Course Outline: Students will produce a seminar journal during the summer vacation period. The seminar journal will be the textbook for the second semester classes, in which we will undertake joint critiques of each student’s work.
Learning Objectives: The seminar students will critique each other's work. This will help students to understand that even the same work can be read in different ways by different people. Through this process, you will learn to distinguish necessary critiques of your own work. You will become aware of what form of work you would like to write yourself.
Learning Activities Outside of the Classroom: Read as many books as possible, including poetry, criticism, plays, etc. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading Criteria/Policy: active participation in class (50%), seminar journal work (50%). The evaluation criterion is good taste in creative writing.
